Habitat: British material from living trunks of Malus sp. and Quercus ilex, attached and fallen twigs of Prunus spinosa.

Notes: Known from England (East and West Cornwall, South Devon, Dorset), Wales (Pembrokeshire) and the Channel Islands (Guernsey and Jersey). Frequent in the Mediterranean region and probably at the northern limit of its range here.
