Habitat: On dead wood of deciduous trees in old woodland, usually in areas of calcareous soil. Mainly on fallen branches of Fraxinus but also known on Fagus, Quercus and Ulmus spp.

Notes: Known from Berkshire, East & West Kent, South Essex, Surrey, South Lancashire, West Norfolk and West Sussex.
